The Inventa iOS application provides comprehensive access to animal tracking data collected via VECTRONIC devices. Designed for seamless integration within the Inventa platform, users can utilize a single account to access and manage data both through the iOS app and the web interface.

The application offers access to a wide range of data, including information from all collars, such as positions, mortality events, mortality implant events, proximity events, separation events, trap events, and vaginal implant events. It also organizes data into collar groups, individual animals, and animal groups for efficient management.

Downloaded data is accessible offline, allowing users to view information ubiquitously without internet connectivity. The data is presented in tabular formats with filtering capabilities, enhancing data analysis. Additionally, position data is visualized on an interactive map that supports multiple features, including real-time device positioning and various map layers like satellite and terrain views.

All downloaded data is stored locally on the device within an internal database, ensuring continued access even in offline scenarios. The application also incorporates features such as optimized download behavior to minimize internet usage, synchronizable sharing of position and event data, customizable local settings, and multi-user account switching on the same device.

To manage resource consumption effectively, users can customize settings related to data limits—controlling how much data is downloaded and stored—and the data refresh interval, which determines how frequently the app checks for new data online.
